Effective 11 January 2027 · last updated 2 November 2026.
These are the terms for Shuinlar — Keeper's Dial: the app, the web app at shuinlar.com and the online service behind them, made and published by Zyetopia LLC ("we", "us"). By playing you agree to them. They are short on purpose; if something here is unclear, ask us at support@shuinlar.com.
What we keep about you is in the privacy policy. How to play fairly is in the fair play rules, which are part of these terms. The rules of the game itself are at shuinlar.com/rules.
Shuinlar is free to play. There are no advertisements and, at launch, nothing to buy. Later we may sell optional cosmetic board looks; the game, the bots, the puzzles, online play and ratings stay free. Any purchase goes through Apple or Google, whose refund rules apply.
Shuinlar has no luck in it, which only means something if both players earned their result. In rated games you play your own moves, without an engine or outside help; you keep to one account; you treat the other player decently in chat. The full rules, how we check and the penalties are on the fair play page. Breaking them can cost you games, your rating or your account.
What you write in chat and in your bio is yours. You give us permission to store it, show it to the people it is meant for and keep it with the game record, which is what the service needs to work. You may not use chat or a profile to harass, threaten, deceive or spam anyone, to post anything unlawful, or to ask for another player's personal details. Every chat has report and block. We may remove content and end accounts that break this.
Online games and ratings are the public record of play. We may annul a game, correct a rating or reverse a result when fair play was broken, when a server fault decided a game, or when a bug did. We do not change results because a player asks. A game interrupted by a lost connection is forfeited after sixty seconds, as the game's own rules say.
The record of a game belongs to both its players; it stays after either deletes an account, under an anonymous name.
The game, its name, the mark, the look of the board, the puzzles, the text, and the world of Zyetopia it comes from belong to Zyetopia LLC. You may take screenshots, record games, stream and make videos of your play, teach the rules and write about them, for free or for money, as long as you do not pass the game off as your own or use the mark to suggest we endorse you. Game records are facts and are free for anyone to copy and study.
You can stop playing and delete your account whenever you like. We can suspend or end an account that breaks these terms or the fair play rules, and we will say which rule when we do, unless telling you would help someone else break it. We may also end or change the online service, with notice when we can give it; the bots, the puzzles and the tutorial run on your device and keep working.
We may change these terms. We change the date at the top and, when a change matters, say so in the app or by email before it applies. If you keep playing after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, stop playing and delete your account.
Shuinlar is provided as it is, and we do not promise it will be free of faults, always available or that any game, rating or record will be kept for ever; we try, and the privacy policy says what we keep. To the extent the law allows, Zyetopia LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the game, and our total liability to you for anything to do with it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the last twelve months and one hundred US dollars. Some places do not allow some of these limits, and nothing here takes away a right the law gives you that cannot be limited.
These terms are between you and Zyetopia LLC, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google do not maintain or support the app, are not responsible for it, and have no obligation to you about it; the store's own terms also apply to the download and to any purchase. Apple and its subsidiaries may enforce these terms as a third-party beneficiary. You confirm you are not in a country under a US embargo and not on a US list of prohibited parties.
These terms are governed by the law of California, USA, and disputes go to the state or federal courts in California, unless the law where you live gives you the right to go to your own courts. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stands. These terms, the privacy policy and the fair play rules are the whole agreement between us about Shuinlar.
